About Us
Hello my name is Lizzie Grant. I left the world of advertising 10 years ago to pursue a more personally rewarding career.
During my training at the Coaching Academy I came across a book called eat that frog! by Brian Tracy, one of America’s leading authorities on the development of human potential and personal effectiveness.
There is an old saying, attributed to Mark Twain, that if the first thing you do in the morning is to eat a live frog, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that it is probably the worst thing you’ll do all day.
In his book, Brian Tracy takes this saying as a metaphor for tackling the most challenging tasks of your day – the ones you’re most likely to put off, but also probably the ones that will have the greatest positive impact on your life. As he says, “there just isn’t enough time for everything on our to-do list – and there never will be. Successful people don’t try and do everything. They focus on the most important tasks and make sure they get done.”
It is only 120 pages long but packs in everything you need to know to stop procrastinating and get on with the really important things – the ones that will move you forward towards achieving your goals and being more successful.
I loved the book so much that I now hold the licence to run eat that frog! workshops in the UK.
